At SWYHKCS we offer a broad and balanced curriculum for Key Stage 1 and 2. Whilst the British National Curriculum is the basis, our curriculum extends beyond it to encompass and exploit the rich learning opportunities in our unique setting of Hong Kong and to support the values and aims of our school. Much of the learning is integrated into themes and topics to maximize links between subjects and give our students exciting and relevant contexts in which to learn. Chinese language and Mathematics follow the local curriculum and are taught as standalone subjects.
 

Each year group covers six topics throughout the year. Please refer to the Whole School Topic Overview. At the start of each new topic a summary page will be sent home so that parents are aware of what their child will be learning.
